Spoiler Alert: James Spader can currently be seen tearing into Captain America and friends as the titular villain in Marvel’s Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, but you can still see him on the small screen as Red Reddington in NBC’s The Blacklist. Tonight, NBC’s airs the penultimate of the hit series second season. Check the plot preview below for a sneak peek at the second to last episode of Season 2. The Blacklist will definitely be back next year, already earning a Season 3 renewal and it is no surprise why. The show is still managing to break ratings records. Setting an all new series record for live plus 3 viewers.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Blacklist, titled “Karakurt,” reads:
“The FBI tracks a dangerous Russian assassin named Karakurt. Liz and Ressler gain insight on Karakurt by visiting Russian Counter-Intelligence, which also provides information about Liz's mother. Meanwhile, Cooper falls into a compromising position.”
