Gwen Stefani may be dealing with the danger of her very own creepy Hollywood stalker, but that doesn't mean the No Doubt singer plans to put her personal life on hold. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Voice coach wants to use her TV show hiatus to switch her focus onto adopting a new baby girl with Bush husband, Gavin Rossdale. Unfortunately, the victim of Gwen's former trainer, Mike Heatie, insists that she is unable to move on with her life for the moment as she still suffers from the injuries sustained at the hands of the Hollaback Girl's old ab sculptor.
After three tries at a girl and three sons to show for it, it seems to make since for Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to adopt if they ever want to have a daughter to raise alongside boys, Kingston, 8, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1.
One source close to the couple told the National Enquirer that Stefani is opting to adopt this time out not only to get a girl but also because she feels it's the right thing to do at this point:
"There are so many children in the world in need of a good home, it just seems the right thing to do."
That being said, however, in all likelihood Gwen would have been satisfied with just the three kids, if one of them had just turned out to be girl instead of boy:
"She loves her boys with all her heart, but she's desperate for a little girl.
"She wants someone to be a Mini-Me!"
While Gwen and Gavin are busy making plans for their future, 43-year-old Fiona McCartney is finding it impossible to move past the night she encountered Stefani's more trainer, Mike Heatie.
According to the Daily Mail, the Edinburgh native, who claims he was responcile for Stefani's breathe taking abs back in 2009, has plead guilty to assaulting McCartney earlier in the year.
McCartney, who was left bleeding and unconscious after being assaulted for her failure to provide Heatie with a cigarette, explained that she is unable to leave her home most days due to post traumatic stress resulting from the brutal beating:
"I don't like to go out to nightclubs now and I get very panicky in crowds after this unprovoked attack
"I'm on sleeping tablets from a doctor because I don't sleep at all. I still have this constant reminder and feel I can't move on because I still have the injuries from that night. I'm reminded every day of this attack."
For her part, Gwen had nothing but nice things to say about Heatie when they worked out together just before her 2009 No Doubt tour:
"Mike is completely passionate about health and fitness and is a wonderful motivator.
"He is tireless, compassionate and makes working out something to look forward to. He is the Superman of my tour."
Let's just hope that Gwen keeps Heatie away from the kids.
