Veteran NBC Voice judge Christina Aguilera has enjoyed a reputation as a diva for years now, but word has it the act is growing old for the rest of her cast mates. According to the latest gossip news updates, Black Sheldon, Adam Levine and the rest of the grew would like nothing better than to see Xtina fired from the TV show and permanently replaced with No Doubt's Gwen Stefani or even hip-shaking Shakira. Very soon, Matt Rutler's baby mama may no longer need to appear on the series anyways. In addition to guest staring on a few episodes of country music centered series, Nashville, Christina has also sold new show, Hearts and Clubs, to ABC Family through her production deal with Lionsgate.
The time that the boys of Voice spent with lovable No Doubt frontwaman, Gwen Stefani, have apparently ruined them for all others.
The latest rumor surfacing from the set has the cast and crew growing tired of Christina Aguilera's attitude and hoping against hope that next year they won't have to deal with it.
One source familiar with the show's secrets told Radar Online ever since Christina came back to The Voice, everyone has been praying she'll leave again soon:
"Christina is such a terror to work with...She just has ridiculous demands since coming back as a judge, and everyone is wishing she did not return!
"She is frequently late and she doesn't even seem to care or apologize for holding up the filming of the show."
According to their informant, even the show's producers were rethinking their decision since Aguilera put the kibosh on a second sexy lead:
"Everyone really misses Shakira and Gwen.
"NBC was actually hoping to keep one of the girls so that they would have two female and two male judges, but Christina said absolutely not, and that she would be the only female judge or she would not do it at all."
Truth be told -- now that Christina has teamed up with her movie producing fiancé, Matt Rutler, she is on the fast track to building a behind-the-scenes entertainment career that might prove far more lucrative than schlepping down to The Voice studio to hear America's unknown masses sing every day.
The entertainment experts at The Wrap report that in addition to already developing one new show for a major network, Matt and Xtina are set to make even more new shows in the months to come:
"In fact, the famous duo have been developing and pitching under the radar in a Lionsgate TV pact for a year and the deal was recently renewed for a second year by the studio."
Just as long as Matt does all the talking to the studios...Christina may never have to spend another moment worrying about what Adam Levine and Pharrell think of her.
