Ex-Scientologist Jason Beghe Talks New ‘Chicago PD’ ‘Med’ Spin-Off, Sophia Bush & Jesse Lee Soffer Dating After ‘Going Clear’ Doc

Spoiler Alert: NBC’s hit crime show, Chicago P.D. is all new tonight, hot on the hills of the Chicago Fire spin-off Chicago Med backdoor pilot. Recently, Hank Voight actor Jason Beghe, opened up about his past as a Scientologist in the HBO documentary Going Clear. Beghe is also talking about the new Chicago Med spin-off as well as Sophia Bush (Lindsay) and Jesse Lee Soffer (Halstead) character dating. Check out the plot preview below to see what is in store for Voight and the rest of cast in tonight’s all new episode.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Chicago P.D. titled, “The Three Gs,” reads:

“The deaths of several teen girls in a Chinatown factory leads to a search for a human trafficker who eluded Olinsky once before. In other events, Sean has an altercation with a fellow officer; and Platt helps Nadia prepare for a polygraph test.”

Recently, Jason Beghe opened up to Digital Spy about the new spin-off, Chicago Med, stateing:

"Hopefully NBC will pick it up. There's all the makings of a very good and long-lasting series there, so I think it's a pretty good bet that it will go. It will be crossover heaven - I'll have four jobs!"

Beghe went on to talk about Voight’s views on Sopiha Bush’s Lindsay and Jesse Lee Soffer’s Halstead’s relationship, adding:

"I think he's made it pretty clear that he doesn't let people in his unit f**k each other. I think that that's a smart policy because it can tend to cloud the mind. Whether it's smart or not, that's how he feels about it. What's the consequence if the thing doesn't work out, which is 90% of relationships. It could cause a lot of problems. If they weren't in the same unit, it would be none of his business -- so that's the only problem he has with it."

Be sure to tune into the all new episode of Chicago P.D. tonight at 10:00 p.m. eastern on NBC.
