The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Chicago Fire, titled “I Am the Apocalypse,” reads:
“The team transports victims of a chemical leak to Chicago Med, where the bad situation turns even worse due to a grenade-carrying madman who claims to have a deadly airborne disease.”
Dawson actress Monica Raymund recently spoke to opened up to TV Line about the new Chicago Med spin-off backdoor pilot:
“[Med features] Halstead’s brother [Will, played by Nick Gehlfuss], and I used to date Halstead for a second, so there’s that. But I think other than that, they’re all new.”
Former House star and Casey actor Jesse Spencer also chimed in, adding:
“It was pitched like there was familiarity between the two departments because they work together, they see each other, they know each other, but not necessarily personally unless it’s like Dawson’s situation.”
