‘The View’ Rosie O’Donnell Denies Adoption Scandal; Jenny McCarthy Returns to Cast; Whoopi Goldberg Advocates Medical Marijuana for Minors? [GOSSSIP NEWS]

The biological mother of Rosie O'Donnell's adopted daughter, Chelsea, is reportedly claiming that the former View star practically stole her baby from her back in 1997 and supposedly want's the 17-year-old returned to her as soon as possible. According to the latest gossip news updates, Rosie' reps insist that not only did the recently divorced actress adopt the little girl legally nearly two decades ago, O'Donnell has never even met woman, who claims her husband gave her child to the agency while she was too high on heroine to do anything about it. Meanwhile, Jenny McCarthy's new husband, Donne Wahlberg, told Howards Stern that the TV show already tried to get his topless Playboy posing wife to rejoin the cast, but she flat out refused. Whether Jenny's prediction that the series will be cancelled within a year or two come true, Whoopi Goldberg is capitalizing on her time in the limelight to advocate for sick children being allowed to use medical marijuana.

Having to publicly deal with quitting The View for the second time while simultaneously going through a second divorce, the biological mother of her adopted daughter Chelsea could not have picked a more inopportune time to reclaim her now 17-year-old baby girl.

Although, Deanna Micoley told the National Enquirer that her ex-husband forced her into a heroine stupor before taking their baby down to the adoption agency without her permission, she insists that O'Donnell was knowingly culpable in the crime:

"I believe Rosie O'Donnell knew that I was in no condition to sign away my parental rights to my daughter!

"She did the worst thing one woman can do to another woman - take her child!

"Rosie O'Donnell stole my baby, but I don't want her money...I just want my daughter back!"

With all the Rosie is dealing with she wasted no time having her rep, Cindi Berger, explain that while Rosie encourages her daughter to develop a relationship with her birth parents it she so choose, no one in amused by Micoley's crass and baseless accusations:

"How disappointing that Chelsea's birth mother would go public with this personal story without ever having met Rosie.

"There are notarized adoption papers signed by the birth mother and father that were accepted by both the adoption agency and the Court."

Whoopi Goldberg also had kids' best interests in mind when she very boldly came up in defense of parents who have resorted to using medical marijuana to treat their seriously ill and dying children.

In an interview with High Times, the medical marijuana enthusiast asked why it made since for an adult with cancer to receive relief but not a child (via Page Six):

"These parents are being treated like criminals -- because, as a last resort and after much research, they've decided that cannabis may help their kid...They know they may face jail time -- but these are their kids, and they will do everything they can to bring peace to the convulsions or calm after the chemotherapy."

After all the craziness with The View casting lineup, Jenny McCarthy told Howard Stern that the producers offered the Playboy model her old spot on the panel but she politely refused (via E! News):

"One of the producers called and said would I ever consider it? And I said, 'No, thank you.'

"Because I couldn't be me."

Well...that and she thinks the show is probably going to "go down like the Titanic" before the end of the year.
