New ‘Flash’ Episode Spoilers with Weather Wizard After Black Kid Flash Wally West Season 2 Donald Glover Casting Rumors

Tonight, the CW’s hit DC Comics drama, The Flash, is all new with the return/revenge of the Weather Wizard. It was recently announced that the renewed series will likely feature the appearance of Wally West, A.K.A. Kid Flash. The show’s executive producers also opened up about Wally West one day being the first black (African American) Flash one day in the future.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Flash, titled “Out of Time,”reads:

“The Weather Wizard appears in Central City to avenge his brother's death and targets Joe, who shot the man. Meanwhile, Cisco recalls the night when the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn't add up; and Barry and Linda go on an awkward double date with Eddie and Iris.”

Recently, it was revealed that show is planning on introducing Wally West, A.K.A. Kid Flash, A.K.A. The third Flash (Barry Allen technically being the second).

At the recent Paleyfest panel, Flash co-executive producer Greg Berlanti was asked if we will see Wally West during Season 2, where he said (via Comic Book.com):

"That's our hope. And we've already been picked up for a second season so I think if we were going to do something like that, we would do it next season."

Last year Berlanti addressed a fan's question a black Flash, telling the crowd (via Comic Book.com):

"We made the Wests African-American so that we could ultimately head in that direction, absolutely. That's our hope."

Co-Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg also spoke about casting an African American Kid Flash, adding:

"What's very cool is in the New 52 they hadn't reintroduced Wally [yet]. ..When they reintroduced Wally, they made him African-American. So now and forever, Kid Flash will be African-American."
