‘Bones’ EP Talks Pregnant Emily Deschanel Baby Belly Bump Effect on Brennan and David Boreanaz Booth [SPOILERS] [DESCHANEL SISTERS]

Spoiler Alert: The Deschanel sisters (Zooey and Emily) are both pregnant at the same time! However, their Fox TV series are taking too different approaches to handling their pregnancies. Zooey’s show New Girl is hiding her baby belly bump, keeping her character Jess childless for the foreseeable future. Emily’s hit detective show Bones, will be writing the pregnancy. Now the show’s executive producer is opening up about how the pregnancy will affect her character Brennan and David Boreanaz’s character Booth.

Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan recently spoke with reporters about how Emily Deschanel's pregnancy will affect her character Brennan (via Examiner) :

"The pregnancy is going to have a little bit more impact on them this season because Brennan now realizes what it is to have a child.Now she knows the tremendous risk that she and Booth's job have in terms of how it affects their family. She is going to have to deal with that, something that I think she was a bit oblivious to before [because] she didn't have the experience.

“There are emotional considerations that surprise Brennan and will affect the pregnancy for the rest of the season.Brennan's pregnancy will have a tremendous impact on this series, certainly giving us a season finale that is deeply affected by it."
