Alec Baldwin is back in the news again for another embarrassing rant. This time, it is his pregnant wife’s Twitter account that has lead to the media disaster. Baldwin blasted a journalist who criticized her, calling him a “toxic little queen.”
Surprise, surprise...Alec Baldwin gets angry and overreacts. So was the case yesterday, shortly after the Gandolfini funeral.
George Stark, a journalist (can we legally call him that?) at the uber-tacky Daily Mail, was reporting on the funeral procession of James Gandolfini. Alex’s wife, Hilaria, allegedly posted some not-so-somber tweets during the ceremony, as Stark reported:
"The pregnant yoga instructor's social media feed was full of upbeat posts while The Sopranos star's friends, family and co-stars were gripped with grief at a New York Catholic church. Messages included a request for ideas about wedding anniversary presents and promotional notes about her upcoming appearance on The Rachael Ray Show."
Alec responded immediately by saying that his wife left her phone in the car...which may be the truth. Often times, celebrities pay others to operate their social media for them. Today, Mr. Baldwin issued the following statement:
"It's disgraceful that a reporter would manufacture and publish a story and not call for comment or explanation--especially when it's intended to take away attention from honoring the memory of a beloved figure like James Gandolfini."
Before Alec deleted his Twitter account, he posted a series of irate messages to the “journalist:”
“My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this f****** trash. My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends funeral. I should find the writer of this article and f*** up the toxic little queen.”
One thing is certain, Alec always knows how to deliver!!!
