Princess Kate Middleton Pregnant Baby Due Date Will Not Be Attended by the Queen, Boy or Girl

Princess Kate Middleton, who is pregnant, is expecting a due date for her new baby in just two weeks. The royal couple chose not to find out if they are having a little boy or girl. The Queen will find out the gender along with all of us commoners, because she will not be attending the birth.

It was announced today that the Queen of England will not be attending the birth of her first great-grandchild. The matriarch will be on her summer vacation at the Balmoral estate in Scotland and has no plans of cutting her royal vacation short.

Prince William, himself, will only be taking two weeks off from his search and rescue career to spend with his newborn. That leaves poor old Kate all alone, which probably explains why she plans on spending a significant period of time at her mother's home.

But, how will us commoners know when the babe is born???

An aide to the royals, told US Weekly that the couple is planning on placing a framed announcement of the birth on the gates of Buckingham Palace--similar to the announcement made for Prince William's birth in 1982.

In fact, it's actually the same frame used to announce William's birth. The document will list the baby's name, gender, weight and time of birth.

The same source also revealed that:

"We want there to be a degree of theatre about the birth announcement. This is the birth of the third in line to the throne so it is very important. It is an extremely important occasion."

Be careful what you wish for. Kate may be getting more theatre than she wants. Recent reports indicate that she is terrified that Prince William will miss the birth of their child.

Prince William has been busy doing work with the RAF. He is serving as a search and rescue pilot for the organization.
While his work should be commended, it is causing consternation in one fan...his beautiful (and very pregnant) wife.

A source told NOW Magazine:

"Kate's worried he might not be around. She's feeling self-conscious because it's uncharted territory for both of them. While she's concerned he won't be there, Kate knows that William will do everything in his power not to let her down."

With a due date announced of mid-July, it only makes sense that Princess Kate will no longer be making public appearances.

That's a shame for fans who are clamoring to know any additional info they can get their hands on. The family has been largely quiet as to the details of the birth.

Claims arouse that Britain would stand to make several hundreds of millions of dollars (or in their case, pounds) from the birth.

As we reported last week:

The couple may be using hypnotherapy to ease with the delivery of her little prince or princess.

Some claim that hypno-birthing can reduce the amount of time a woman spends in delivery, as well as reducing the amount of pain the mother feels.

How did this rumor get started? Sources close to the royal couple have given a series of interviews with British publication, Grazia Magazine.

The unnamed source dishes the dirt in their latest issue:

"Kate has researched various birthing methods. She wants it to be natural, so hypno-birthing is one option that appealed and she had been reading up on it and listening to CDs to get into the right frame of mind. Some of her friends have used this method and swear by it. Kate wants to do it her way and be relaxed."

This wouldn't be the first time that Kate has turned to hypnotherapy as a form of treatment. Reports indicate that Middleton began hypnotherapy in the early stages of her pregnancy.

Kate was experiencing such terrible morning sickness that she had to seek medical treatment. Apparently, the treatment was so successful that Middleton plans to implement the techniques during childbirth.

A spokesman for the royal couple issues the following statement:

"We appreciate it's a happy occasion, but there are some matters which should remain private to the duchess."
