Having already had a baby in 2014, you might think that Christina Aguilera's marriage to fiancé Matt Rutler is more of just a technicality at this point, but Xtina apparently doesn't see it that way. According to the latest gossip news updates, The Voice coach is having some trouble trying to get her boyfriend to sign a wedding prenup guaranteeing her reported $130 million net worth will be safe regardless of a future split. The "Dirrty" may be getting into with her man over money, but Instagram model says she always gets along with Black Sheldon's country music wife, Miranda Lambert, even if she does think her husband can get a little annoying form time to time.
It might seem a little hard to understand why Christina Aguilera would reportedly put her fiancé though all the time and trouble of having to negotiate over a prenuptial agreement if they are in love, but one high-profile Hollywood divorce is enough to make even the most hopeless of romantics a little gun-shy the second time around.
A source close to the situation explains in the March 9, issue of Star Magazine, that Christina would love nothing more than to just get married without signing anything, but she isn't sure she would be able to afford to walk down the aisle without one:
"She won't do anything unless there is an ironclad prenup in place [and] it's turned into a behind-the-scenes battle over spousal support.
"Christina really does think Matt's The One...but she felt the same way about Jordan.
"She's not going through that again."
Miranda may be having it out with her boyfriend, but she's still enamored with Blake Shelton's wife.
During a recent interview with Seth Meyers, she revealed that she thought Miranda Lambert was absolutely the country bee's knees (via Fox News):
"Miranda is no joke.
"She's awesome. I've become such a huge fan of Miranda Lambert, though.
"She's awesome. She's really awesome. I've got to give her kudos!"
Speaking of country artists, now that Aguilera has an arch on ABC's TV show Nashville, she feels like she has a little more pull among Blanke and Miranda's peers:
"I'll have something under my belt to get certain steals for these country artists.
"I'll be like I'm actually on the show 'Nashville,' recording in Nashville..."
Maybe, Xtina needs to take a page out of Lambert's playbook and marry a country music man with enough money that she won't not need to worry about anything as petty as a prenup.
