Word has it that 'Rich Girl' singer Gwen Stefani is too mean and unpredictable for the producers' of the Voice tastes. According to the latest gossip news update, the No Doubt frontwoman has been driving the cast and crew crazy with her diva antics and bad attitude. You can call it fired, replaced, furloughed or anything else you like, but it's said that the "Hollaback Girl" won't be coming back next season. There is even one report circulating that Christina Aguilera's fill-in even insulted America's country music sweetheart, Taylor Swift, because her appearance on the NBC show reportedly forced Gwen's husband, Gavin Rossdale, to have to give up some his TV time to the '1989' singer.
The latest story coming out of NBC's talent show juggernaut, The Voice, has the cast and crew ready to revolt if the producers don't do something about Gwen Stefani's terrible behavior and immature attitude.
A behind-the-scenes production source claimed in Star Magazine's December 8, issue that no one really knew what they were getting into when they hired Gwen:
"It's been a little crazy with Gwen.
"She had no idea that doing the show would be so time consuming.
"She gets frustrated that filming can sometimes take six hours.
"Adam [Levine] and Blake [Shelton] have tired to help her, but she just blows them off."
According to the inside informant, it isn't just the regular coaches that Stefani is bumping heads with on the show.
Gwen made sure that she took out all her frustrations on mentor Taylor Swift after the 24-year-old pushed her Bush fronting husband out of the Voice spotlight:
"Gwen was really pissed when they brought Taylor Swift on because it meant Gwen's husband, Gavin [Rossdale], had to cut his run short.
Worst of all, says the source with from the show, Gwen can't even deal with the pressures of live TV, despite the fact that she has performed hundreds of shows for thousands of people over her career:
"The live shows make her a nervous wreck.
"She gets frustrated, and the producers are worried about what she might say.
"The producers aren't going to ask Gwen to come back next season...She's just too unpredictable."
Regardless of whether or not Gwen Stefani gets asked to ever coach on The Voice, at least it has provided her with the opportunity to reconnect with Pharrell Williams.
In addition to providing Gwen with unfettered access to the Neptune hitmaker, who produced Stefani's wildly successful "Hollaback Girl", Billboard has revealed that it also give the No Doubt singer the perfect stage to debut their latest collaboration together, "Spark the Fire".
Let's hope Gwen did a better job at cutting the single than she reportedly did with impressing her Voice cast mates.
