It seems that these days no one can get enough of No Doubt mom, Gwen Stefani. According to the latest gossip news updates, Gwen's husband, Gavin Rossdale, has finally made an effort to get their marriage back on track, and after months of reportedly sleeping in different beds, the rock stars have been able to mend the split in their relationship. Unfortunately for Christina Aguilera, however, there are also reports circulating that the entire Voice cast would rather she was fired and Stefani was given her job permanently. The story has it the Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams would all be much happier with the jovial ska singer returning to her spinning chair, but the producers as convinced that Xtina sometimes surly personality is much better for the TV show's ratingsin the long run.
This time last year the rumors that Gwen Stefani's 12-year-marriage to Gavin Rossdale was on the verge of divorce were just beginning, but things are reported to be as right as rain once again.
According to the January 19, issue of OK! Magazine, Gwen and Gavin's night out December 18, proved that the couple were all good, and an eyewitness they tracked down seemed all too happy to confirm that they looked as happy as ever:
"Gwen was smiling ear to ear.
"They acted like any other loving couple and were having a great time.
"It was clearly a show to let everybody know how happy they are."
Since they are working together and sharing meals once again, Just Jared reports that the power couple took a lunch meeting with famed X-MEN director, Brat Ratner -- more than likely to talk about some upcoming collaboration.
Being that Gwen is presumably done with The Voice after this year, she should have time to work with Ratner, Rossdale or even her own bandmates -- unless the Adam Levine and Blake Shelton get their way that is.
Just last week OK! reported that the other Voice judges were putting the pressure on the producers to make Stefani's replacement of Christina Aguilera permanent -- despite the fact that Xtina has had her baby and is ready to work:
"Blake and Adam prefer working with Gwen because she's easy to get with.
"[But the producers] think Gwen is a little too vanilla and that the show's become too nice.
"Christina is more controversial and come be a bit of a mean girl, and that's the kind of attitude that makes for great TV."
In keeping with the vein of the show, perhaps the powers that be at NBC will let the viewers vote on who they want to be on the judges' panel, and put their theory about Aguilera's popularity to the test.
