Rumor has it Gwen Stefani fellow Voice coach, Pharrell Williams, isn't just her hit maker; the Neptune's producers also reportedly gives No Doubt's frontwoman a lot of solid life advice. According to the latest gossip news updates, it was Pharrell mentoring that saved the "Baby Don't Lie" singer's marriage to Gavin Rossdale. The celebrity tabloids insist that had Williams not suggested that Stefani take the TV show gig and make a new solo record, she might have divorced the 90s alt rocker. Apparently, now that the Hollaback Girl is focusing on her career again, splitting from her husband couldn't be farther from her mind.
Pharrell Williams is said to be doing more than just bringing No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani's career from the brink of obscurity, the legendary producer is rumored to have helped save her marriage to Gavin Rossdale as well.
A source with all the behind-the-scene details claimed in Star Magazine's latest January 5, that without Pharrell's guidance Gwen and Gavin might have broken up before her first episode of the Voice was even scheduled to air:
"Gwen and Gavin have always had their ups and downs, but Pharrell always gives her amazing relationship advice.
"He said that her marriage would improve if she was happy in her own career, and that's what made her do The Voice.
"And he was right; it was exactly what she needed...she and Gavin are better than ever!"
Not only did he reportedly get Gwen to give Gavin another chance, Williams got Stefani to return from her self-imposed exile from the recording studio:
"Gwen considers Pharrell one of her best friends.
"He has motivated Gwen to do things that she never thought she could."
In a pretty candid conversation with Yahoo! Music, Gwen admitted that after she started having children, the idea of making another album became less and less of a priority:
"Making music is just not the same, and it's never going to be the same after having kids.
"It's just different once you have a baby.
"There's no way to go back to having the freedom that you had creatively, because your energy is always going to be focused on the kids.
"Family and marriage and all those things have to come first, and it's really different."
Can't Gwen Stefani just find a babysitter?
