Newest edition to The Voice, Gwen Stefani, hasn't officially addressed rumors that she and her Bush husband, Gavin Rossdale are ready to split and get a divorce. But the "Hollaback Girl" sex symbol did admit that working together on the TV show had them fighting like cats and dogs. The Instagram bikini feet model revealed that up until now the only thing she had made with her British daddy was a baby. According to the gossip news updates, trying to get on the same page in regards to mentoring the reality series contestants was almost too much for the No Doubt song writer.
For some couples working together is relationship poison and often serves as the catalyst to their eventual splits, and such may be the case for Voice newcomers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.
During an interview with NewsDay, Stefani claimed that the decision to go ahead and join the show together led to more than one confrontation between her and her husband:
"I was like, 'I don't know if you should do it! I don't know if I should do it myself!'
"It was awkward...We literally got into a fight the night before.
"We've only collaborated on making babies together."
Gwen admitted that a lot of the interactions on the show aren't quite as saccrine sweet as they sometimes appear on national television:
"I get the X-rated version -- which is super-funny.
"Adam has taken it so far--and I've been a band member my whole life with all guys-- that I've almost felt injured by some of the things he's said."
Judging by his interview with Entertainment Weekly, it is doubtful that Blake Shelton is anything less than a perfect gentleman when dealing with his first Voice work crush:
"Gwen's quickly becoming one of my favorite people that I've had the chance to work with on the show. I think she is the most normal person I have ever met in Hollywood.
"I couldn't wait to introduce Miranda to her when we were in New York City, because we were both just giddy about having the chance to meet her and get pictures with her."
Sounds like if Gavin Rossdale doesn't want to play nice with Gwen Stefani while on the set of The Voice...there are plenty of people who do.
