Gwen Stefani Fired from ‘Voice’ after Married Blake Shelton Flirty Comments Offend No Doubt Singer? [NEWS UPDATE]

It would seem that after an awkward debut season of The Voice that Gwen Stefani is never going to be invited back to the show. Call it fired, replaced or passed over -- according to the latest gossip news updates, Gwen will reportedly be forced to step aside next year to let Christina Aguilera return to her rightful place as one of the original TV show's coaches. Word has it that Gavin Rossdale's wife has alienated her cast mates by betraying their trust and talking about them behind their backs. But rumor has it that could be no worse than how uncomfortable, Blake Shelton, who is married to Miranda Lambert, makes the No Doubt "Hollaback Girl" with all his flirty comments.

When Gwen Stefani first came on The Voice as pregnant Christina Aguilera's 2014 replacement there were rumors that she might permanently dethrone the reality TV veteran, if she was perceived as more likable or compelling than Xtina.

But now that things are drawing to a close, it seems clear that that is not in the cards.

A production insider with all the behind-the-scenes deets claimed in OK! Magazine's latest December 16, issue that Stefani was upsetting her coworkers both on and off the set:

"Gwen is extremely self-conscious about the decisions she makes on the show.

"[Plus] Gwen loves to talk to talk with people about their problems...Adam, Pharrell and Blake have all had heart-to-hearts with her.

"But then she'll tell the next person her secrets! They've learned not to trust her."

According to the source, Gwen isn't exactly impressed with all her Voice co-stars either, when it comes right down to it.

The informant explained that Gwen is convinced that Blake Shelton is either trying to sleep with her or making the most inappropriate jokes in the history of family television:

"His flirty humor has made Gwen very uncomfortable.

"She feels like he's borderline hitting on her and has to remind him that The Voice is a family-oriented show."

Blake's terrible sense of humor aside, Gwen told the Hollywood Reporter that she knows she isn't going to be invited back next year and it makes her feel like the last kid picked for the dodgeball team at recess:

"If they asked me, I would... It makes me so jealous when I think they're doing it without me.

"I'm like, 'What is going on?' This is so awkward."

Well, now it's Gavin Rossdale's turn to get Gwen some work on one of the UK's innumerable reality shows.

Let's hope it's more I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here or Big Brother, than it is X-Factor or something of that ilk.
