‘Voice’ Judge Adam Levine Begs TV Show to Fire Christina Aguilera NOT Gwen Stefani? [RUMORS]

Word has it that Christina Aguilera's surly personality has fellow Voice judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton begining to beg the TV show's producers to fire Xtina and let Gwen Stefani remain on as a chair-wielding coach next season. According to the latest gossip news updates, the cast and crew may prefer to work with Gavin Rossdale's happy go lucky wife, but Aguilera's difficult attitude makes for better television. Apparently, the powers that be at the Voice think that a little happiness is well worth the sacrifice for bigger and better ratings.

Christina Aguilera is finally all set to return to her spinning chair on the Voice following a two-season long absence, but her cast mates may not be so ready to have her.

A behind-the-scenes production source claimed in the January 12, issue of OK! Magazine that some of her Voice peers were practically begging that Gwen Stefani permanently replace Xtina on the show:

"Blake and Adam prefer working with Gwen because she's easy to get with.

"[But the producers] think Gwen is a little too vanilla and that the show's become too nice.

"Christina is more controversial and come be a bit of a mean girl, and that's the kind of attitude that makes for great TV."

If having a bad attitude makes for great TV, then according to TMZ, someone should be following Christina around with a camera 24/7.

The entertainment gossip website claims that during a Christmas outing to Disneyland that Aguilera became so enraged that she accosted Mickey Mouse for taking his legally mandated break:

"While ringing in her 34th b-day at Disney California Adventure, Christina and her crew tried to get a pic with Mickey, but he was going on a break.

"Aguilera lost it, and called Mickey an 'a--hole.'

"Xtina's crew started hurling threats, we're told...and Mickey had to be ushered to a safe zone -- out of public view."

The idea that Christina Aguilera would be considered anyone's mentor or coach is becoming ever more disturbing as her years on The Voice go on.
