Reese Witherspoon is an excellent actress, however, these days she may be best known for getting arrested while being incredibly drunk. But, that might all be a thing of the past, if she is lucky enough to take home this year's Oscar at the Academy Awards.
Reese is ready for her chance to shine.
The eternally young actress recently shared a photo of her seat at tonight's A-list event. But, according to Daily Mail, Reese's favorite Oscars throwback picture is one featuring her mommy:
"Best actress nominee Reese Witherspoon shared a behind-the-scenes Academy Awards snap of her seat assignment in Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Saturday...'#PracticeMakesPerfect #Oscars #Countdown,' wrote Witherspoon...Two days earlier, the Oscar winner - who turns 39 next month - had shared a triumphant throwback from the 2005 ceremony alongside her mother, retired nurse Betty."
Of course, over the years Reese has become more known for her hard-partying lifestyle, perhaps, than for her acting abilities.
In 2013, the actress was arrested in a severely inebriated state whilst trying to defend her husband, who was also drunk. Police released footage of a clearly inebriated Witherspoon, yelling something about being an American citizen on U.S. soil.
Again in 2014, video footage emerged which seemed to show a drunk Reese Witherspoon in an elevator. And, according to Perez Hilton, Reese was having a bit of difficulty speaking:
"Cara Delevingne is quite a mouthful and definitely a lengthy number of letters to pronounce correctly...But that sure didn't stop Reese Witherspoon from trying as she proudly proclaimed her love for the model in what appears to be an elevator shaft at Rihanna's Met Gala after party...Not only does Reese (perhaps drunkenly) slur Cara's last name to the point of unrecognition, she also drops the F-bomb..."
