During the funeral service for José, which took place on the previous Friday, singer Lolita Flores paid tribute by expressing, "It breaks my heart to think I'll never hear your voice again, but I'll keep talking to you. Love you endlessly, José."
He starred in the show "Toy Boy," which aired for two seasons between 2019 and 2021. His presence was also felt in "Amar es para siempre," "Vis a Vis: El Oasis," and "Servir y proteger."
