Exciting news about the upcoming debut of "Stalled" has been revealed, a new musical set to hit the stage at the King's Head Theatre in London.
Taking the stage alongside West End and Broadway luminary Lauren Ward (known for roles in "Stranger Things: The First Shadow" and "Dear Evan Hansen") is Josie Benson (from "Kiss Me, Kate" and "Mamma Mia!").
Scheduled to run from February 13 to March 23, 2025, the production features the creative talents of Liesl Wilke as the writer of the book and lyrics and Andy Marsh as the composer of the music and songs, with additional input from Kyle Puccia.
"Stalled" unfolds within the confines of a restroom under the direction of Vikki Stone. This unique production weaves together a diverse group of characters grappling with their own struggles.
According to reports, "Set in a bougie-a-- Seattle ladies room, lost-but-searching Maggie and a frazzled mother, a neurodivergent daughter, a nonbinary poet and a queer computer scientist are among the characters whose paths cross and who navigate the ups and downs of modern life."
Producer Thomas Hopkins said in a statement, "I am delighted to be producing the world premiere of Liesl and Andy's new musical at the new Kings Head Theatre. And it is an honour to collaborate with Liesl (as co-producer) in bringing this vibrant and poignant work to life on stage. This musical gives a powerful platform for voices that deserve to be celebrated."
Introducing a new initiative, the upcoming show will feature "Pay What You Can Tuesdays," as Hopkins revealed, "In the spirit of inclusivity and community, I am thrilled to introduce 'Pay What You Can Tuesdays', made possible by the generous support of a dedicated foundation. This initiative ensures that everyone has the opportunity to experience this new musical, no matter what their financial situation."
On some performance dates, ticket prices start at £10.
