Nicole Scherzinger has officially joined the ranks of Broadway stars in the newest production of "Sunset Blvd."

She first appeared in the West End revival of the show in 2016 and the Broadway revival in 2017. Scherzinger's performance earned her the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

The production garnered major attention during its preview run, raking in a remarkable $1 million in its first week.

In a major milestone, the Pussycat Dolls star was met with a series of standing ovations, with one memorable moment lasting an impressive six minutes, as reported by People magazine.

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old performer is receiving high acclaim for her role in the Broadway production.

According to the Washington Post, "Nicole Scherzinger's radiance as Norma Desmond in 'Sunset Blvd.' is difficult to overstate."

Variety describes it as a major moment for the singer-turned-actress. They note that Scherzinger's undeniable talent has often surpassed her opportunities in the entertainment industry.

"Scherzinger and the stage she inhabits push each other to grand extremes. The result is something like magic."

Meanwhile, Chicago Tribune said in their review, "Both marquee numbers received long, show-stopping ovations at the performance I saw, and not just from fans of the Pussycat Dolls. Scherzinger is fantastic."

The Broadway production is about Norma Desmond, a very famous celebrity from the silent film era, now dwelling in a dilapidated mansion consumed by memories of yesteryears.

Fate intertwines her path with that of Joe Gillis, a budding screenwriter, setting the story for a tale of ambition, love, and sorrow as the protagonist imagines a major comeback through him.

According to "Sunset Blvd's" logline, "Haunted by her memories and dreams, movie star Norma Desmond yearns to return to the big screen."

"A struggling screenwriter who can't sell his scripts to the Hollywood studios may be her only hope, until their dangerous and captivating relationship leads to disaster. Drenched in champagne and cynicism, SUNSET BLVD."
