The good people at Lionsgate released another Insurgent trailer Monday, and once again Theo James sex scenes with Divergent sex-symbol Shailene Woodley has sent fans into a tailspin. According to the latest gossip news updates, the fans of the franchise are still hoping against hope that Shai and Theo breakup with Nahko Bear and Ruth Kearney respectively and start dating immediately. Perhaps seeing Woodley's onscreen chemistry with James become too much for her Fault In Our Stars boyfriend -- inspiring Ansel Elgort, to get back together with his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan. Ansolo recently admitted that he was doing just fine in the five months since their split until he suddenly realized that he was desperately missing her love in his life.
Every time a new promo for anything involving the Divergent franchise hits the streets, its tween fans start to go crazy with speculation that it must somehow mean, against all odds, that Shailene Woodley and Theo James are finally dating just like they always knew they would.
According to VC Post, the February 10 trailer for Insurgent was no different than the original in that regard -- featuring a snippet of a sex scene that reportedly sent tween into fan fiction frenzy.
Although, all the onscreen canoodling has seemingly done little to persuade Theo and Shailene that they should hookup off the set, it may have convinced costar Ansel Elgort that it was well past time to mend fences with his longtime girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan.
The EDM DJ explains in the March issue of Details magazine that everything was going along just fine following their breakup until he realized that he was actually quite miserable (via E! News):
"I was doing OK...but I knew something was missing.
"And I was like, 'Oh, that's love.'"
It turns out that Ansolo really is the overly sensitive sort.
Elgort also reveals in the piece that when he had to miss his dad's NYC art exhibit to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards it practically brought him to his knees.
The 20-year-old explained that without his mom there to ultimately tell him what to do, he may have just indecisively sat there in a puddle of his own tear (via J-14):
"I actually cried...I left the decision up to my mom.
"But there's going to be many more tough decisions ahead."
Ansel certainly doesn't sound like your typical hard partying 20-something DJ, that's for sure.
