Jay Z is back on tour, but it may get cut short. Sandra Bullock, America's sweetheart, may appear in his new movie--Annie.
For a movie whose release date is over a year away, the film has generated a lot of hype. The most buzzworthy element is probably the producer.
Jay-Z shares producing credits on the film with Will Smith. Hopefully Smith will make a better producer than he did a rapper.
Like most of Smith's projects, he tried to crowbar in his children. Luckily, Willow turned down the alleged Scientologist. Will Smith issued the following statement:
"We got Jay-Z to do the movie, got the studio to come in and Willow had such a difficult time on tour with 'Whip my Hair' and she said, 'You know Daddy, I don't think so.' She looked at me and said, 'Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12.'"
Ugh, even his daughter is obnoxious. Thankfully, a talented actress will be stepping in.
Sandra Bullock, who people remember more for her Jesse James debacle, is reportedly in talks to play Miss Hannigan.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the musical, Miss Hannigan is a hard-drinking know it all--a role that may be a stretch for the beloved starlet.
Other celebrities have officially announced their participation in the film as well.
Jamie Foxx will be playing Benjamin Stacks, an updated Daddy Warbucks. Stacks will be a rich politician who is seeking a mayoral election.
