‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast News: Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson Back on Paul Walker Set for Reshoot? [PHOTO UPDATE]

After seeing the over-the-top Fast and Furious 7 trailer back in November you might have got the feeling that Universal director, James Wan, had at least finished filming the latest movie in the franchise, but you would have been mistaken. According to the latest gossip news updates, cast members, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris, are both back on the set of Paul Walker's final film for a last minute reshoot. The model/R&B singer explained via Instagram that working on Paul Walker's last Fast film once again brought his tragic death to mind.

The April 3, release date for Fast and Furious 7 is less than three months away, but new franchise director James Wan is still shooting a few final scenes for the movie.

Last week, Tyrese Gibson confirmed through his Instagram page that he was onset with some of the Fast and Furious gang to finish what Paul had started as they reflected on his passing:

"On set #Fast7 re-shoot energy is on high levels -- naturally I start thinking about my brother -- just one more time I'm always hoping to walk on set and see P sitting in a car smiling and hopping out to give me that hug.

"That hug that only Paul could give."

"Real family stick together beyond 'Action and Cut'... We are relentless when it comes to protecting our gifts our visions and the ART of acting that we have."

"Paul...We're going to make you so proud...I repeat...So proud."

Although, director James wan is not a part of the longtime Fast family -- Furious 7 is his first film with the franchise -- he is just as determined as any of the veteran actors to make Paul's last movie with his old friends stand out from the rest.

Perhaps, that explains Wan's no holds-barred approach to making his first Fast movie or why he chose to actually throw a handful of very nice cars out of a perfect good airplane (via LA Times):

"We threw cars out of the back of a plane, no joke.

"We had skydivers photographing these cars as they were falling down.

"It's as insane as it sounds."

With that kind of dedication to his craft there is little doubt that Wan and the rest of the Fast and Furious aren't going to let Paul Walker down.
