Finishing Fast and Furious 7 has been no easy feat for the cast member left body-rocked and emotionally shocked by the tragic passing of franchise lead Paul Walker, whose autopsy revealed was still alive immideatly after the crash. WWE wrestling superstar Scorpion King Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recalled having to pull his car off the freeway due to shock, the night he heard the news update. The grand adventure is finally over for Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris however. Diminutive director James Wan recently congratulated the "boys" on a job well done. God only knows what he calls starlet harlot Michelle Rodriguez off the set. Though now that she is single after reportedly breaking up with Cara Delevingne, perhaps he is just going to call her.
Paul Walker's passing wasn't easy for star/athlete Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson after getting to know the single dad on the previous Fast franchise films.
Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter in fact, that he was so upset when the news broke, it was all he could to pull over his car and pray (via Breathe Cast):
"I was driving with (my girlfriend) Lauren when she immediately turned very quiet and was looking at me, studying, wondering if I knew...I pulled over and looked at my messages and had a moment where I just caught my breath.
"We said a prayer right then to give his daughter strength--because we had talked about our daughters.
"That's what we would talk about. Both of us were divorced, and we talked about the power of being a dad and the strong connection of a dad and his girl.
"Then once we got home, we started bawling."
On a brighter note Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris are ready to celebrate their completion of their final Fast and Furious 7 scenes, and according to director James Wan, he's ready to party with them:
"And that's a wrap on my boys, @Ludacris and @Tyrese!!
"It has been an honor directing you guys. See u at the wrap party."
But don't worry Fast fans, April 15, 2015 isn't the premiere of the Fast franchise finale flick.
To the contrary, word has it now that Universal has convinced Walker's brother Cody to permanently come on board...we should have plenty of Fast derivatives for the next twenty years.
Yay us.
