Green Bay Defends Brandon Bostick After Seahawks NFC Championship: Russell Wilson Rallies for Comeback

The NFC Championship between the Packers and the Seahawks was anything but predictable, and it marked one of the biggest comebacks in playoff history. Many of the Packers have reportedly banded together in defense of Brandon Bostick after his onside kick disaster. True, Green Bay's loss can be attributed to many different players losing focus. However, the Seahawks victory is very much the product of Russell Wilson's ability to get his team to rally.

For many, the match-up was considered a dream day for fans. The league's best quarterbacks were set and ready to play against the leagues most dominant defenses. All in all, though, the Seahawks were picked as favorite for the home game.

Even with the odds against them, Aaron Rogers and the Packers were not ready to lie down and take it. Instead, they dominated the majority of the game and only had a couple mistakes.

However, that all changed when the fourth quarter rolled around. According to TMZ Sports, Green Bay defended Brandon Bostick after his mistake cost them the game:

"Green Bay Packers players want anyone blaming Brandon Bostick for Sunday's loss to BACK OFF...[saying] the epic collapse wasn't just one guy's fault, but a total team disaster. Bostick made the gaffe seen 'round the world in Seattle on Sunday -- muffing an onside kick and allowing the Seahawks to pull off one of the craziest comebacks in NFL playoff history. Several members of The Pack [say] they have Bostick's back 100% and the loss on Sunday...was a total team effort."

It was easy to see that the Packers started to fall apart towards the end of the game.

However, to some, that was due to the Seahawk's ability to turn things around. According to Bleacher Report, Russell Wilson couldn't have stepped up a second later than he did:

"Russell Wilson wasn't his best Sunday. In fact, he was probably near his worst. But when it came time to save the Seattle Seahawks' season, Wilson got the job done...The former Pro Bowl quarterback hit Jermaine Kearse for a 35-yard touchdown in overtime, completing a historic comeback and sending the Seahawks to the Super Bowl with a 28-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday."
