Daniel Bryan is one of the highest decorated wrestlers in the WWE. His numerous achievements have earned him a place in the hearts of fans worldwide. Bryan recently stated in an interview that if he gets the chance to compete against Brock Lesnar, it would be one of the greatest matches to ever happen. Not to mention, Daniel has risen from the ashes as a possible favorite to take home the title of victor in the upcoming 2015 Royal Rumble.
Before the WWE, Bryan wrestled with several other lesser known promotions. For a while, he wrestled with Ring of Honor and assumed the name of the "American Dragon". Also, he had a short stint with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
However, he is best known for his time with the WWE, where he went on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship three times.
Now, the previous champ has returned from an injury and he looks to be in excellent form. According to Cage Side Seats, Daniel might even be a contender against Brock Lesnar, as Bryan revealed:
"I truly believe that if I wrestled Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, it might be the most physical, realistic, style of pro wrestling match that has ever been seen in the United States. it would just be something very, very different from what people are used to seeing now in WWE, and I think we need something like that, something that feels like a spectacle. I think it would be incredible."
Of course, that's not the only potential fight that has fans talking.
Daniel has emerged as a front-runner to take home Royal Rumble gold. According to Inquisitr, Bryan might even be surpassing Roman Reigns:
"Who will win the 2015 Royal Rumble? That's by far the biggest question among WWE fans right now. For several months, almost every WWE fan has assumed that Roman Reigns would be the man to win the Royal Rumble; however, there are concerns within WWE about Reigns being ready...With Daniel Bryan announcing that he will be participating in the 2015 Royal Rumble match, it's unlikely that WWE fans will accept any other babyface winning the match."
