Hayley Atwell Talks ‘Captain America’s’ Howard Stark Dominic Cooper and Jarvis James D’Arcy ‘Agent Carter’ Casting [ABC] [MARVEL]

Marvel is getting ready to launch the all new ABC series Agent Carter, starring. Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, one of the founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D. Carter has been featured in both Captain America films and her very own One-Shot short film. Proving herself to be more than just Captain America’s girlfriend, Carter is making a name for herself as one of Marvel’s most bada** action stars. Joining Carter will be Dominic Cooper reprising his role as Howard Stark, Tony Stark’s father, and James D’Arcy as the original Jarvis.

Atwell went on to further explain the relationship between Carter and Jarvis:

“It’s a lovely dynamic between them because they’re both British. They both have that wit and that satire. Their language is a game of chess back and forth. It’s a great game that they play and I think they get tremendous enjoyment out of it. And their relationship grows over the season. They become very close. They also provide the comic relief of the season. You see the serious aspects of what they have to do but then you have these great moments of comedy between them. He becomes like her comic sidekick.”

Agent Carter premiers on Tuesday Jan 6 on ABC.
