This Tuesday night (Jan 6) is a big night for TV. Not only are a lot of your favorite TV show’s returning, including New Girl, Mindy Project, NCIS, and Chicago Fire, but ABC and Marvel also have a very special event, Agent Carter. The Captain America spin-off stars Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D. The show will also feature the premiere of the “human sized” Ant-Man trailer.
ABC kicks off the night with special two-hour premiere of Marvel’s Agent Carter. The new series stars Hayley Atwell, reprising her role as Peggy Carter from the Captain America film series. Carter is Captain America’s girlfriend, but more impressively, she is one of the founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Agent Carter airs at 8:00 p.m. eastern and will feature the “human sized” new Ant-Man movie trailer. Following the premiere of Agent Carter is an all new episode of Forever.
Fox start’s its night with MasterChef Junior at 8:00 p.m. Next up is the network's comedy block, Zooey Deschanel’s New Girl at 9:00 p.m. and Mindy Kaling’s The Mindy Project at 9:30.
NBC start’s Tuesday night off with a hour-long repeat of Parks and Rec ahead of its Jan 13 Season 7 premiere. Marry Me is all new this week at 9:00 p.m. followed by an all new About A Boy at 9:30 p.m.
The laughs end at 10:00 p.m. with the Jesse Spencer lead firehouse drama, Chicago Fire.
CBS starts its night off with NCIS at 8:00 p.m. followed by the spin-off series NCIS: New Orleans at 9:00 p.m eastern. Next up is Person of Interest at 10:00 p.m. eastern.
Over on the cable side of the dial is ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars at 8:00 p.m. eastern and Switched at Birth at 9:00 p.m. eastern.
