It is going to be a great year for fans of film and TV. The two genres are crossing over in some pretty big ways. Not only is the Marvel Cinematic Universe gaining another TV crossover in Agent Carter, but TV shows are becoming movies and movies are becoming TV shows. The classical Michael Crichton film Westworld has been transformed into an HBO series, and the classic NBC Spy-Fi show The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is about to going to hit the big screen. Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill will be joining the (not-so) Lone Ranger, Armie Hammer in the upcoming Guy Ritchie adaptation of the spy series.
Rounding out the cast are Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki and Hugh Grant. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. opens on August 15.
