Pregnant American Idol winner and country music maven, Carrie Underwood, doesn't care what People Magazine says about Chris Hemsworth, she knows that her professional hockey playing husband, Mike Fisher is hotter than their 2014 Sexiest Man Alive. The Sound of Music star recently claimed that while in Austria leading up to last year's live special, the natives kept confusing him for the Thor star, but Carrie explained that the actor can't hold a candle to her NHL hero. According to the latest gossip news updates, the "Something in the Water" singer doesn't think to highly of Nashville peer, LeAnn Rimes either. Word has it that Carrie has been holding a grudge against Brandi Glanville's archrival since 2006, and the feud won't be over until she gets an apology.
Shaina Twain was once famous for singing about how unimpressed with Brad Pitt she was, and now current country music chart topper Carrie Underwood is saying the same about People's current sexiest man alive, Chris Hemsworth.
While recalling how weird it was to be recognized in Austria last year preparing for her Sound of Music role, Underwood told the Talk that the krauts had a little trouble placing her and husband, Mike Fisher, in the minds, though they seemed certain they knew them from somewhere (via ABC News):
"I'd say [the weirdest place I've ever been recognized was] when we were in Austria.
"It's like people could recognize us, but they didn't know why.
"They were just like, 'Oh, these people look familiar so we had people coming up to our tour guide and asking if my husband was Thor.
"I mean, I think, like, my husband is way hotter [than Chris Hemsworth]."
Speaking of not finding some folks so hot -- word has it that Carrie Underwood absolutely can't stand fellow country music starlet, LeAnn Rimes.
The whole feud according to the latest December 22, issue of Star Magazine stems from some fairly insensitive comments that LeAnn made back in 2006, when a then fresh of an American Idol victory, Underwood won the award for best female vocalist:
"To see someone come in and win female vocalist that has been her for a very short time is a little disheartening."
Apparently, LeAnn, who was able to use the novelty of only being 13-year-old when she first appeared on the music scene to gain fame, believed at the time that Country Music Awards should be awarded based on seniority instead of merit.
Either way, a source told the publication that Carrie has never gotten over it and won't until a certain someone says they're sorry:
"Carrie saw it as a shallow and shameful welcome into the industry and showed LeAnn's true colors.
"She's waited eight years for an apology and has never gotten one.
"Carrie holds grudges...[she] will never forget."
Well, if there is anyone that could bring the evil out of someone as sweet as Carrie Underwood it would have to be LeAnn Rimes.
