For months-and-months leading up to the pregnancy news, Carrie Underwood and her Nashville Predator husband, Mike Fisher, have been dealing with the tabloid rumors that they are ready to split. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, it's all the extra weight gain that comes with her baby bump that has the American Idol upset--not her husband. So, while the divorce stories have subsided for the moment, word has it her psyche--if not her marriage--is really starting to buckle under the strain from those extra new pounds.
One might think that the tabloids would give Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher a break since they finally got pregnant like the publications seemed to demand, but they'd be mistaken.
After months of reporting that all Mike wanted was a baby from his wife or he'd be leaving, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the pregnancy has just forced the couple to realize how unhappy they really are:
"Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher will break up and announce their divorce before the baby is born."
Now, Life and Style Magazine is reporting in their December 1, issue that the baby is already becoming too much for Carrie to bear as she begins to balloon.
The publication supposedly spoke with an insider who claims that Underwood is afraid that if she's not careful, she might end up breaking her body forever:
"Carrie is absolutely terrified of losing her figure.
"She hates that she's gaining so quickly.
"She's already to starting to obsess over not getting fat."
According to the insider, Underwood's friends and family are trying to convince her that if she loosened up with all the dietary restrictions she might actually gain less weight:
"Everyone wants her to start eating red meat, but she refuses--she wants to stick to eating vegetarian.
"She claims she has no cravings, but she's secretly being very sick with her diet."
It's hard to believe that eating cheeseburgers is going to make that big of a difference one way or the other, but if it gets Mike to stay...Carrie should definitely try it.
