Snoop Dogg's Son Cordell Broadus College Football Options, Muhammad Ali Shows Support

Snoop Dogg has reached an impressive level of stardom in his career, and his efforts have made him a household name. Now, it looks like his football star son is heading down the same path of success. Snoop was recently joined by Muhammad Ali, as they supported Cordell Broadu, Snoop's son, and Biaggio Walsh, Ali's grandson, finish this season as the #1 ranked team in the U.S.

Snoop's story is the ultimate rags to riches tale you hear everyone talk about but rarely accomplish.

In the beginning, Snoop was just selling drugs on the streets. Now, however, he has one of the most recognizable voices in all of hip hop and has even stared in such movies as Starsky & Hutch and Soul Plane.

Moreover, it looks like his willpower and ability to succeed has passed down through Snoop's bloodline. According to Metro US, his son Cordell Broadus is well on his way to football stardom:

"Snoop Dogg's son...has aspirations to play in the NFL. Broadus is the star [of his high school]. Broadus has 28 receptions for 445 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior at Bishop Gorman this fall. Broadus [doesn't know] where he will play college ball. Snoop...wants him to go to USC, but he has been linked to more than a handful of other schools, including Notre Dame, LSU, Florida State, Tennessee, UCLA, Baylor, Duke..."

Now, championship time is here for high schools across the nation and none have made it is as far as Broadus' Bishop Gorman High School. The school also has the distinction of having the biggest celebrity following.

Reported on by TMZ Sports, Snoop and Muhammad Ali showed up to support their family:

"Muhammad Ali and Snoop Dogg -- SAT TOGETHER -- at the...high school state championship...as their superstar kin DOMINATED on the field. Ali's grandson Biaggio Walsh and Snoop's son Cordell Broadus are teammates at Bishop Gorman High School...both scored TWO touchdowns each in their 70-28 victory over Reed. [Broadus is] a senior and this weekend's game was his last as a high school player. He's been offered [many] scholarships...but has yet to announce where he's going to go."

Impressively they have outshined the rest. With the victory this weekend, Bishop Gorman has officially finished the season as the #1 high school football team in the country.
