Hulk Hogan has one of the most respectable wrestling careers of anyone, and maybe that's why he can't leave the smack talking in the ring. Hogan is currently involved in a real life feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin. But his feuding doesn't end there, the former WWE/WWF star recently spouted off against several NFL players and suggested that wrestlers are tougher than pro football players.
Hulk's run as a wrestler has turned him into an icon. He is a 12-time World Champion, and 6 of those were WWE/WWF Heavy Weight titles.
Also, the Hulkster is the first and only professional wrestler to be featured on the front of Sports Illustrated.
Perhaps Hogan's success is what leads to his strong opinions and lack of fear in showing them.
For instance, he is currently entangled in a heated feud with the beer drinking hard ass, Stone Cold Steve Austin. According to Inquisitr, Hogan just added another chapter to the ongoing story, when he recently bashed SC:
"It's always some type of crap going on, you know? There's always these guys running around like women in hair salons. Everybody's talking smack on everyone else. I've never see anything like it. If there's one guy that there's this major b**ch with, is this constant b**ch, Stone Cold Steve Austin."
Hulk isn't done telling people off just yet.
Now, Hogan says that a lot of guys in the NFL do not have what it takes to make it in the ring. Reported by TMZ Sports, Hogan thinks that being a wrestler is out of reach for many professional football players:
"And not just no-name scrubs...we're talking some pretty famous NFLers who couldn't quite hack it with Vince McMahon's organization...guys like Oakland Raiders legend Lyle Alzado. Hogan names names...Bill Fralic (4-time Pro Bowler), John Matuszak (2-time Super Bowl champ)...and explains that it takes a special sort of toughness to fake fight in the squared circle."
Hogan caps the statement off with, "You gotta be able to work hurt...You can't be taking a day off from wrestling because you twisted your pinkie if you're wrestling the main event at Madison Square Garden."
What do you think about the situation? Is this just part of wrestling? Or is Hulk taking things too far? Let us know in the comment section below.
