Tonight, Fox’s hospital drama, Red Band Society is all new with its fall finale. The show has been widely rumored to be canceled, meaning that there might only be three episodes left. Last week, Bella Thorne (Disney Channel’s Shake it Up) guest starred on the series. After the episode, Octavia Spencer praised the young actress.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new fall finale episode of Red Band Society, titled “What I Did For Love,” reads:
“Emma goes home but learns a shocking secret; Jordi mulls breaking the law as a means to an end; Leo and Kara leave the hospital; Hunter gets support from Dash as he faces a risky medical procedure; Nurse Jackson and Dr. Naday try to get a response from Charlie.”
Last week, Shake it Up’s Bella Thorne guest stared on Red Band Socitey as a teenage celebrity struggling with addiction. Thorne opened up about her character in an Whosay Interview:
“I relate to her in a way that she's a girl constantly picked on and pulled apart because you don't like this or that about her. You think she's too fat...she's too skinny. That happens to me every day. That can be really, really bad for a 17-year-old girl to hear. That can do a lot to your self-esteem.
Following the episode, Thorne took to Whosay to talk about her favorite moments from the episode (via Just Jared Jr):
“One of my favorite moments on set was when Octavia [Spencer] told me I was a great actress.”
