Fired CM Punk WWE Feud: “Best Wrestler” Health Policy Comments Result in Scandal, Official Statement Coming Soon [UPDATE]

Self-proclaimed "Best Wrestler In the World" C.M. Punk accomplished a lot during his time with the WWE. However, that didn't stop the company from firing him on his wedding day. One tends to wonder if this was a coincidence or just another high-flying stunt. Punk seems to be leaning toward the latter, and during a recent speech, he addressed some of the issues he has with the WWE and their health policies. Apparently, Punk was in a life-threatening situation, and he is claiming that WWE doctors are to blame. Moreover, rumors are suggesting that his words have hit home and the WWE might be taking action against said doctors.

C.M. Punk has always possessed a talent for being able to fluff up a situation or use articulation to make a situation seem worse than it really is. However, Bleacher Report has Punk's statement on the alleged medical malpractice, which involves a lump on the wrestler's back:

"I've had so many injuries and this was the most painful thing in my entire life, it hurt so bad. I sweat like I was in the Sahara desert, I clutched table and the doc was just squeezing this stuff. He patched it up and gave me three months worth of antibiotics. I've been working with this for three months and doc told me I should be dead or I could've died."

In most cases, whenever someone's life or death is in question, it doesn't matter what kind of bad blood exists between the two parties. According to rumors on Cage Side Seats, the WWE could be showing they agree by taking action against the doctors who put Punk in this situation:

"CM Punk alleging he was mistreated and/or not treated at all by WWE doctors during his big interview last week has led to speculation that WWE could actually move on from said doctors."

Another issue Punk relayed was with his WrestleMania payoffs being less than he felt he was worth. According to Wade Keller, "Undertaker also wasn't getting paid what he likely deserved because he never rocked the boat on such things."

So it looks like the WWE is doing something about the injustices that Punk endured toward the end of his wresting career. What do you think about the situation? Let us know in the comment section below.
