Wrestler The Miz Brags About WWE 4-Way Victory: He's Come A Long Way From 'The Real World'

It's only been 13 short years since Mike Mizanin, now known to the world as WWE champ The MIz, was partying it up on 'The Real World Back To New York.' At the time, he was 21 years of age, and he proved to be silent and, for the most part, a respectable guy. However, even then, he showed MTV viewers that he had a rough, tough, rude and crude dark side that liked to get things started. In one episode, he even mentioned his aspiration of being a pro-wrestler. He didn't know at the time, but those small aspirations would turn into big achievements one day. Now, "The Miz" stands next to his tag team partner and brags on their championship, but more importantly, on himself.

After The Miz established himself in the WWE, NY Daily News caught up with him and reported on the actual origin of The Miz and his time at MTV:

"'[The Miz is] a bold goon who spoke his mind unabashedly and feared no reaction, occasionally erupting into fake, pro-wrestling style speeches ripping into his roommates.' The Miz was then reported as saying, 'I was an outsider; everyone couldn't stand me. It was just my way of yelling at people, because I could blame it on The Miz...And people started to like The Miz more than they like Mike."

The alter ego was a big hit, and the longtime wrestling fan decided to embrace his destiny. On Sunday, WWE.com interviewed The Miz and Damion MIzdow on their 4-way tag team match victory.

The reporter asks The Miz if there is anyone he would like to thank, and he replies, "Yea, I wanna thank myself. Because when A list producers as me to do a performance of a lifetime, I deliver. When they ask me to go to a third world country to smiles on people's faces who are less fortunate than me, I deliver. When I say I'm going to win the tag-team championship at Survivor Series, I deliver."

Upon inspection ,one might realize the line, "a performance of a lifetime," to be a Freudian slip. What do you think? Also, what do you think about Mike's transformation? Let us know in the comment section below
