Now that Carrie Underwood has finally gotten pregnant with her Nashville Predator husband's baby most of the divorce rumors that have plagued the couple have subsided, but now the American Idol has something new to cry about. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Instagram mom-to-be has been having a difficult time adjusting to all the weight gain that come along with a brand new baby bump. The "Something in the Water" singer admitted that Mike Fisher found her crying all alone in the closet the day after she realized that she had gotten too fat for her pre-pregnancy outfits. Although, Carrie also balled her eyes out while shopping for a new car the other day also, so it could just be the hormones.
After ten years in the spotlight, Carrie Underwood has always kept the same svelte figure she debuted on American Idol a decade ago, unlike some of her country music peers.
But now, that Underwood is all pregnant with Mike Fisher's baby boy for the first time in years Carrie's body is out of her control.
A behind-the-scenes source claimed in Life & Style recent December 1, issue that Carrie isn't handling the weight gain as well as she might have hoped:
"Carrie is absolutely terrified of losing her figure.
"She hates that she's gaining so quickly.
"She's already to starting to obsess over not getting fat."
At first glance, those remarks could be brushed off as simple tabloid fat shaming the latest knocked-up celeb or a friend telling a white lie to make a buck, but Carrie practically confirmed as much during one recent interview.
Carrie recounted an incident from the very recent past when a surprised and confused Mike Fisher came home to find his wife sobbing all alone in the bedroom (via Taste of Country):
"It was the day I was like 'I no longer can wear my clothes anymore.
"So he came in and I was, like, crying in the closet and he was like, 'What is happening?'"
Sounds like Carrie just should have started packing on the pounds about a year or so ago...that way she wouldn't even care about a few dozen more "lb's" by now.
