Instagram Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Divorce Split News: Pregnant Baby Bump Saves Marriage? [VIDEO UPDATE]

No doubt, the Hollywood rumor mill will use Twitter feet model, Carrie Underwood, and Nashville Predator husband Mike Fisher's recent announcement on Instagram that the American Idol is pregnant to validate their yearlong assault on the Country couple's marriage. For months on end the gossip news updates have insisted that Fisher was ready to split if his woman didn't hurry up and have his baby. Over the summer it was reported that Mike had given Carrie the ultimatum that either she conceive or he would split. Whether Brad Paisley's CMA cohost got pregnant to save her marriage or not, let's hope they don't hesitate to let the social media baby bump photo barrage commence.

Country music vixen, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher has had all manner of rumors lobbed at their marriage this year.

Most notably, has been the very often repeated rumor that Fisher was terribly unhappy as Carrie kept putting off the family that she had bragged to the world about wanting to start.

An inside informant even claimed through the Nation Inquirer that Mike had finally broken down and demanded that his wife come though on her promises:

"It all came to a head earlier this spring when Carrie told Mike that she was mulling several acting offers that would keep her busy and away from home through the end of the year.

"She realized Mike was ready to throw in the towel on their relationship over the baby issue.

"Mike blew a gasket. He told Carrie that she needed to choose between her career and her marriage."

You can believe whatever you like about Carrie's reasons for deciding to get pregnant at the high point of her career, but Underwood has announced that she and Mike are having a baby within the next nine months via Instagram:

"In honor of 'Labor' Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier..."

As TV Guide notes the little dogs' formal wear is the real clue to the baby announcement:

"The American Idol alum announced her pregnancy Monday with an adorable photo of herself and her two dogs...in which her dogs are wearing matching 'I'm going to be a big brother' and 'I'm going to be a big sister' T-shirts."

Looks like we are never going to get to see that live Sound of Music sequel, now.
