David Duchovny Wife Téa Leoni Fired from New CBS Show ‘Madam Secretary’ after TV Husband Tim Daly Confirms Working Disaster Reputation? [NEWS UPDATE]

Apparently, you shouldn't believe everything you read in a tabloid anymore. According to the latest gossip news updates, David Duchovny's Madam Secretary ex-wife, Téa Leoni, is on the verge of being fired due to her inability to work well with other. But her husband on the new CBS TV show, Tim Daley, of Wings fame, claims that she isn't a disaster to work with as previously reported--but a pleasure. Joe Hackett revealed in a recent interview that his experience with Leoni left him feeling relaxed and appreciated--despite Tea's diva reputation.

You would think that after so many years toiling away in Hollywood in relative obscurity that Téa Lenoi would be on her best behavior now that she's finally been given another shot at helming a primetime TV show, but that isn't what some people are saying about the Bad Boys bad girl.

One source--claiming to have the behind-the-scenes deets--told Star Magazine a couple of weeks ago that Leoni's onset antics are alienating her from the entire cast and crew:

"Téa's ego needs some checks and balances.

"Téa told producers that she wants final approval over her costars--she doesn't want anyone who's a bigger name on the show.

"Téa wants to be the most talked-about character and throws a fit if she doesn't like one of her lines."

Quickly coming to her defense--Téa's paid representative told Gossip Cop that not one part of that story bears even the slightest kernel of truth:

"Everything about it is wrong and untrue...she couldn't be more generous or wonderful."

Backing up the Lenoi side of the story is her Madam Secretary husband, Tim Daly, who claims that though he may be a little biased, he absolutely loves working with someone as sweet and respectful as Téa (via Coolum News):

"Working with Téa is a disaster, you can tell...No, it's really great.

"Téa and I, from the minute we met, we knew we had the shared experience of going to this tiny little high school. It was not at the same time, but it's a unique place.

"We really hit it off...we play very hard at our work and we like to have a good time."

It almost sounds like Daly is interested in possibly playing the part of Leoni's husband outside of Madam Secretary, as well.
