‘Crisis’ Gillian Anderson Talks About Dating David Duchovny: ‘Californication’ Boyfriend Back Together with Wife Téa Leoni After Divorce Split? [PHOTO UPDATE]

Canceled NBC Crisis hero Gillian Anderson claims that she and X-File co-star/boyfriend David Duckovney never dated despite their intense physical attraction and personal chemistry because they knew each other too well. Though that sounds ridiculous when you say it out-loud. Meanwhile the reported formerly sex-addicted Californication Lothario is said to be getting his personal as well as professional life back on track this year. Not only is Duchovney set to seamlessly transition from Californication's Season 7 finale into the premiere of his new network crime series Aquarius in the same year, it's rumored he is back together wife ex-wife and mother of his two kids, Téa Leoni.

Gillian Anderson doesn't mind answering all of you questions about her relationship with David Duchovney, just as long as you as willing to believe that duo never dated.

During her interview with Huff Po Live, Gillian became face-flushed and flustered when asked about whether or not she and Duchovney ever explored their connection in a personally intimate nature:

"Well now that it is over I can tell you...No.

"It's a nice idea, but it's not going to happen.

"I think we know each other too well, we know each other than our spouses at any time when we may have had spouses.

"There is an attraction...maybe even more than a [friend] attraction...but anyways."

Sounds like Gill could be down for a little romance in the future, but she is probably going to have to wait until David dumps Téa Leoni again.

According to a report in Star Magazine's July 14, print edition, David Duchovney and his ex-wife looked to have reconciled--judging by their beach body-language:

"They were smiling and cuddling up to one another.

"They walked hand-in-hand and shared a kiss.

"They seemed like the perfect family."

Talk about a dagger in the heart for Anderson. Just as soon as she puts herself out-there, here comes Téa Leoni--once again--to steal Special Agent Fox Molder's heart away.
