‘Once Upon A Time’ Two-Hour Episode Preview: ‘Frozen’ Snow Queen ‘Revolution’ Elizabeth Mitchell Talks Emma Swan Jennifer Morrison Powers

Tonight, the hit ABC fairy-tale drama, Once Upon A Time is all new with two back to back episodes. Recently, the Frozen Snow Queen Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, Revolution) opened up about Emma Swan’s (Jennifer Morrison) growing powers.

The official plot synopsis for the first part tonight’s all new episodes of Once Upon A Time, titled “Smash the Mirror,” reads:

“Part 1 of 2. Emma isolates herself from loved ones to protect them as her powers grow uncontrollable, and she seeks help from Mr. Gold. Meanwhile, in the Arendelle of the past, the Snow Queen struggles to ignite a rivalry between Anna and Elsa.”

The conclusion episode airs immediately after part 1.

Where Emma and her parents are afraid her powers, the Snow Queen isn’t. Elizabeth Mitchell recently spoke with IGN about just that:

“I don’t think she’s afraid of Emma’s powers just yet; I don’t know that she thinks it will backfire. I guess she believes in her truth so completely that this is what happened, and this is why she is the way that she is. That she thinks that if she re-enacts it all perfectly, that she’s going to have another person like herself on her hands and that she’s the only one who can save said person. And I think she just believes it so deeply that’s where it is. It is really scary, and it is also sad.”

Be sure to check out the two-hour special episode of Once Upon A Time tonight, starting at 8:00 p.m. eastern on ABC.
