Well election week is over, and that means that The Flash is back on The CW. Tonight’s all new episode features Kelly Frye as Plastique, and Clancy Brown (Sleepy Hollow, Justice League / Superman: TAS’ Lex Luthor, Spongebob Squarepants’ Mr. Krabs) as The General Wade Eiling.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Flash, titled “Plastique,” reads:
“A bomb explodes downtown and the army, led by General Eiling, comes in and takes over the investigation, much to Joe's dismay. Meanwhile, Wells informs the team that Eiling experimented on his men to turn them into super soldiers; and Joe tries to get Iris to stop writing about ‘the streak.’"
This week’s new episode features newcomer, Kelly Frye, as Plastique, a metahuman with explosive powers. Plastique is on the run from, General Elling, played by, Justice League, Lex Luthor, and Spongebob Squarepants Mr. Crabs voice actor Clancy Brown.
Frye recently spoke to TV Line about Plastic's secret origins:
“Bette was in Iraq defusing roadside bombs when an explosion left shrapnel inside her body...The same explosion that caused The Flash to get his powers gave Bette her ability.”
Kelly Frye also went on to talk about Elling’s hunt for Plastique:
“He is trying to get a hold of me, to use me as a weapon. He wants what I’ve got!”
