From the outside looking in it is starting to becoming clear that Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Tamra Barney Judge has won the feud with her old Bravo reality TV rival, Gretchen Rossi. In addition to winning her recent child custody battle with her ex-husband, Simon, Tamra still has a regular means of employment on television--which is far more than Rossi can say at the moment. In fact, the Marriage Boot Camp survivor is seemingly so desperate to find work that she accidentally sparked rumors that she and her fiancé boyfriend Slade Smiley had broken up with her Millionaire Matchmaker Twitter announcement.. According to the latest gossip news recap updates, the original producers of the Real Housewives series are suing the Bravo network along with a former co-producer over a disagreement about how the million upon millions of dollars in profits were to be split.
At least, when Gretchen Rossi was on Bravo's Real Housewives of Orange County, she wasn't having to waste any time explaining her actions to her own fans--as was the case when Tamra Barney's nemesis announced via Twitter that she would be appearing on Millionaire Matchmaker.
Being that Rossi has been talking about her plans to get pregnant with Slade's baby at any and every opportunity afforded her, it seemed odd to announce their split in as cavalier a manner as a TV Twitter plug, but they haven't broken up.
Tamra explained to one fan on Twitter thatjus becasue she was trying to find love with some random millionaire didn't mean she and Smiley had broken things off:
In related news, two former co-producers of the original Real Housewives of Orange County reality show concept, Patrick Moses and Kevin Kaufman, and suing fellow former co-producer, Scott Dunlop, and the Bravo network for their fair share of Real Housewives franchise profits.
According to a text of the lawsuit, Dunlop and the network deceived Moses and Kaufman into thinking they would be getting equal amount of money in the backend--which allegedly has not happened (via The Wrap):
"This is a case about the real story behind the Real Housewives--a case of textbook fraud and self-dealing.
"[Scott Dunlop] repeatedly lied to his business partners ... in order to take for himself the fruits of their joint labor."
Moses and Kaufman are reportedly looking for no less than $5 million in compensation...which seems a drop in the bucket to what Bravo has made off the franchise and its spin-offs in the past decade...all considering.
