CW Early 2017 Renewals Include Rachel Bloom’s Musical Comedy ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’

The CW has found a recipe for success. The network has just granted an early renewal to 11 shows. Among the 11 is the new musical comedy 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.' The series stars and was co-created by Rachel Bloom. The series also stars Santino Fontana ('Billy Elliot the Musical,' 'Sunday in the Park with George'). In Born to be Blue, due out in theaters March 25, Ethan Hawke portrays the troubled trumpeter of the 50s and 60s Chet Baker. In Miles Ahead, House of Lies star Don Cheadle co-wrote, directed and stars as jazz god Miles Davis.
