And yet, it's that lattermost idea which will soon be postulated by eight-time Grammy winner Herb Alpert, who has a new collection of sculptures set to unveil in New York City's Dante Park at West 64th Street. The Sphinx Organization, which offers intensive musical training and performance opportunities to young Black and Latino musicians, recently received a $4 million gift from an anonymous benefactor. The gift will enable Sphinx to expand its numerous educational and training programs.
