We already know who's playing, and a new app gives us the latest news on the thinking man's Bonnaroo.
Before the full schedule announcement coming Tuesday, March 18, the higher ups there in Knoxville, Tenn. share with us some specific details regarding our headliners.
At the Tennessee Theatre
Friday's headliners include Dean Wareham, Norwegian Nico-covering songstress Susanna and the epic John Cale. Saturday brings New York legends Television and Sunday is followed with the prolific Jonny Greenwood and Ensemble Signal--performing pieces from Steve Reich.
At the Bijou Theatre
Friday night's program includes our personal favorites So Percussion. With Buke and Gase and Glenn Kotche. Also, Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog featuring Shahzad Ismaily and Ches Smith will perform and Body/Head will clean up. Saturday premieres the mystical Maraaji, LA-based composer Julia Holter--closing out with slow core heroes Low. Sunday will round out with So Percussion and Bryce Dessner, presenting his 'Music for Wood and Strings.'
