About the Vitamin String Quartet and Their Upcoming Tour
Accruing over 2 billion streams, just about 4 million downloads, and more than 1 million physical units sold, the Billboard-topping ensemble has built acclaim as masterful instrumentalists taking the classical approach in interpreting modern pop hits.
Owing to their success, their songs have been prominently featured in the famed Netflix and Shondaland original series "Bridgerton," culminating in the quartet's appearance last night at the show's Season 3 premiere event.
VSQ was started back in 1999. 25 years since then, the project has become a genuine force in contemporary music, establishing a formidable connection between the classical world and the mainstream industry.
Variety confirmed VSQ's success in reaching a more "mainstream, global audience" following their high-profile placement in the aforementioned hit show's first and second seasons. As per Nylon, they have successfully "charmed the world with their classical covers."
In their upcoming tour, the ensemble will widen their repertoire and perform spellbinding and innovative renditions of hits from Billie Eilish, BTS, The Weeknd, and Daft Punk, in addition to their usual lineup of Swift and "Bridgerton" songs.
"We are thrilled to bring Vitamin String Quartet's beloved arrangements of all things pop out to the many audiences that have already made VSQ records a part of their lives," shared VSQ cellist Derek Stein. "We can't wait to dive into all of our favorites-new and old-with our fans across the US!"
