Nilüfer Yanya has announced a fall tour that includes shows in North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe to kick off later this year.
Yanya's 2024 tour dates come after the release of 'Like I Say (I runaway)," her first new song since her 2022 album 'PAINLESS.'
Yanya released her new song last month and a music video in which she plays a bride on the run. It is the debut track under the British musician's new Ninja Tune label.
Molly Daniel, Yanya's sister, directed the video. 'Like I Say (I runaway)' was #1 on the Songs of the Week list.
"It's about how you choose to spend your time," Yanya said in a press release. "Time is like a currency, every moment. You're never going to get it back. It's quite an overwhelming thing to realize."
On September 28 at Philadelphia's Underground Arts, Yanya will tour the United States, stopping in major cities like Washington, DC, New York, Boston, Montreal, Chicago, Nashville, and more. The North American tour will end on October 24 at Los Angeles' Fonda Theatre.
Tickets for every show in North America will go on sale on Friday, May 17, at 10 am local time. The tour stops in New York City on October 1 at Brooklyn Steel.
Furthermore, Lutalo, Eliza McLamb, and Angélica Garcia will provide opening support on a few show dates. The Vancouver show will occur on October 18 at the Hollywood Theatre with Garcia and Lutalo.
She will then travel to Europe, where she will perform in Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Paris before arriving in the UK to play in Brighton, Bristol, London, and Nottingham. The tour will end at Manchester's Academy 2 on December 5.
