The Magnolia Janes Origin Story
Songwriters Sarah and Ashley first met at a sync songwriting retreat in the Pocono Mountains, finding each other a kindred spirit with a similar love for music.
Individually, both have established careers as acclaimed artists successful in writing music for the film and TV industry. However, what bonded them together were their experiences being a boy mom and their love of cheap wine and vintage clothes.
Since then, they have performed on many stages together and have backed each other up on their own respective solo music endeavors across California, Nashville, and New York, eventually deciding to join together and form their band.
Sarah's South African music heritage, classical piano, and opera training fuse seamlessly with Ashley's Americana, rock, and folk influences, allowing them to craft songs that are wholly their own.
